The news for Tuesday.
The levee is in good shape. Two fox holes have been found and taken care of and they did not damage the integrity of the levee.
Governor Heineman was in Dakota County today and spoke with reporters and members of the public at the Law Enforcement Center.
Sandbag filling will continue on Wednesday at the SSC compactor site. Volunteers are needed. So far about 10,000 bags have been filled to be used as needed to be used to protect the levee. Your help is needed. The bag filling will begin at 8:15 A.M.
