South Sioux City Middle School & Public Library to Host Author Neal Shusterman

We are very excited to host Neal Shusterman at the South Sioux City Middle School on October 27 at 2:00 p.m.  The following is a press release that was just sent to area media.

 South Sioux City Middle School & Public Library is pleased to announce that award-winning children’s and teen author Neal Shusterman will speak at South Sioux City Middle School on Thursday, October 27th at 2:00. During his visits to schools and public libraries during the week-long tour across Nebraska, Mr. Shusterman will talk about and read from his book “Unwind,” discuss the craft of writing, address the topic of publishing, field questions from the audience, and autograph books.
 Mr. Shusterman’s book “Unwind” is the One Book for Nebraska Teens selection for 2010-2011. One Book for Nebraska Teens, sponsored by the Nebraska Library Commission, encourages teens across Nebraska to read and discuss the same book.
 The author tour is hosted by the Nebraska Library Commission and Nebraska’s Regional Library Systems, funded in part by the Nebraska Arts Council, Nebraska Humanities Council, and Nebraska Cultural Endowment.
