Changes in the way we Download Ebooks for the Kindle

The following is from Susan Knisely of the Nebraska Library Commission.

Please see message below from OverDrive regarding changes in how patrons will need to go about getting Kindle-format Penguin eBooks, which they’ve checked out from OverDrive, onto their Kindles. Since they will no longer be able to have this content delivered wirelessly, they will need to download the content from their Amazon account to their computer and then transfer to their Kindle via USB. Sigh.

Here is a handy URL to share with patrons so they can find instructions on how to do this on their particular Kindle model: http://www.amazon.com/kindletransfer
