Book Review: Swept Away by Mary Connealy

This week’s review book was recommended to me by one of the fairer sex. But “Swept Away” by Mary Connealy has a little bit of something for everyone. Gun fights, love stories, and the Civil War are all mixed in. Ruthy MacNeil never believed she’d meet the love of her life being rescued from the raging torrents of a river crossing gone wrong. She may have found something special with Luke Stone, but at the moment he is a man on a mission, a dastardly family “friend” has murdered his father in cold blood and taken over the family ranch while Luke was away in the military. This man won’t let the farm go without a fight, but when Luke realizes his feelings for Ruthy will he be able to keep her and have his revenge as well? This book was so good, I even convinced one of the librarians, Tammi, to order me the next book in the series!
