 Danish Workshop Set for September 21 in Council Bluffs

The Pottawattamie County (Iowa) Genealogical Society (PCGS) will hold an all-day workshop, “Researching Your Danish Ancestors,” on Saturday, September 21, 2013. The event will be held at the society’s library, 622 S. 4th Street in Council Bluffs. The guest speaker will be Michele McNabb, Librarian of the Family History and Genealogical Center of the Museum of Danish America (The Danish Immigrant Museum), Elk Horn, Iowa.

The 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. workshop will feature four presentations by McNabb: Danish-American Genealogical Sources; Danish Resources--Where They Are and How To Use Them; Were They Danish or German?--Danish Ancestors from Slesvig-Hosten; and Cyber Genealogy--Danish Style.
